I was commisioned by COCAY Studio to create some artwork for the brand new MUSEO BANCO DE MÉXICO (Bank of México Museum) in the México's Centro Histórico; It was a great honor to work in one of the key buildings of the city centre.
I drew inspiration from the beautiful art deco design of the place, it's murals, statues, reliefs etc.
(above) some early sketches and character design I did for the animated sequence that is now being proyected inside of the Museum.
One of the tasks was to create the entire storyboard sequence for the animation. (left) the first to pages of the storyboard (right) a small sample of the animation located near the staircase.
